01 Reducing GHG Emissions
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is most important in lowering global temperatures. Greenhouse gas emissions can be reduced through biofuel use, efficient industrial technology development, and livestock management. Instead of fossil fuels, biofuels can be used to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in transport and industrial sectors, and methane emissions from agricultural activities can be reduced by improving the quality of grasslands. As a result, people can slow the global temperature rise and slow down the pace of climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
In the scientific community, researchers have found that carbon dioxide caused by human activity is the most influential in raising the Earth's temperature. Therefore, they recommended the use of natural gas, an alternative energy source, instead of fossil fuels.
